Though Dysport was approved to use in the U.S. in Spring 2009, it has a history of use in other countries since 1991. Outside the U.S., it was first approved for aesthetic use in 2001.
Typical recovery time after having Dysport
As with Botox, you can go back to work and resume most other activities
immediately. There is no down time required after Dysport treatments.
How long do Dysport treatments last?
The effects of our Dysport injections will appear within 7 days, and
typically last 4-6 months. The longevity of the effects can vary from
person to person.
What are the side effects and risks of
Dysport treatments?
Unwanted side effects are rare with Dysport, but can include nose and
throat irritation, headache, injection site pain, injection site skin
reaction, upper respiratory tract infection, eyelid swelling, eyelid
drooping, sinus inflammation, and nausea.
