Perlane is similar to Restylane and is made from non-animal stabilized hyaluronic acid (NASHA) gel. No pre-testing is required, since hyaluronic acid is a substance that exists in the human body. The difference between the two products is that the particles in Perlane are larger than in Restylane, which take longer for the body to break down. It is for this reason that our Perlane patients usually enjoy the rejuvenating effect for a longer time than our Restylane  patients.
