How it works

Injectable selphyl is prepared by drawing a patient’s blood, separating the platelets from the red blood cells. The separated platelets are then mixed with a fibrin mixture and injected to the area the patient wants to augment. The doctor overfills the area by 20 percent so a patient can see an approximation of the final results. The excess will be gone in about a day. Several weeks after the blood injection facelift, the fibrin matrix builds up and the final result appears.
