Visia Skin Analysis

VISIA skin analysis system, by Canfield Imaging Systems, is a sophisticated computer imaging program that closely examines the condition of your skin to measure pigmentation, UV-damage, age spots, red patches, texture, wrinkles and pores.

It is also used to analyze rosacea and spider veins, and is great for assessing acne, as it measures the presence of acne-producing bacteria. By using the VISIA facial analysis system prior to treatment we are able to make accurate recommendations based on our clients greatest needs and provide a visualization of what they can expect post treatment.

VISIA has transformed the field of skin rejuvenation. Prior to this new technology doctors had to rely solely on subjective evaluations of the skin. Now, utilizing the VISIA facial analysis system they are able to review detailed photos and a customized report to come up with an effective treatment program customized specifically to the patient's skin type and condition. 

  

How does it work?

VISIA takes digital photos and utilizes multi-spectral imaging to provide doctors with a detailed view of your face from every angle. The system not only analyzes the surface of your skin but goes deep into the subcutaneous layer to provide a very accurate depiction of the true condition of your face.

VISIA is able to compare your skin to that of other individuals of the same age and skin type in order to simulate the aging process. This unique technology allows us to show you what your skin will look like in five to seven years. It then produces a comprehensive report that identifies your most serious skin problems, specifically areas that would benefit most from treatment. Once a course of treatment has been decided upon, VISIA can be used to monitor your progress after each session to show the ongoing improvements in the appearance of your skin.
