Our most popular non-surgical injection, BOTOX® Cosmetic is a simple physician-administered treatment that temporarily reduces or eliminates wrinkles and crows feet around the eyes, giving the skin a more youthful appearance.  It is the only treatment of its type approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). BOTOX® Cosmetic is a purified natural protein that relaxes the muscles that cause frown lines and wrinkles to form over time. After one 10-minute treatment there is a noticeable improvement, which can last up to 4 months.

How does it work?

A tiny amount of BOTOX® Cosmetic is injected into the muscle tissue controlling the affected area.  This blocks nerve impulses causing the muscles to relax and the wrinkles to disappear. Untreated muscles contract normally so that facial expressions are unaffected and therefore continue looking very natural.

After Treatment
Some patients experience minor bruising or headaches. The positive effects of BOTOX® Cosmetic start to become visible within three to five days and may take up to three weeks. Treatment wears off after three to four months.
