Dr. Guido Alberto Pinelo Cabrera M.D., Medical Director
Dr. Pinelo graduated as a medical surgeon from the University of Yucatán in Mérida. He has ample experience in the private and public health sector, including the emergency ward, teaching and administration. Dr. Pinelo has been the in-house doctor at Royal Resorts for 19 years and is affiliated to the Baptist Hospital in Miami and IAMAT International. He is Director of Medicine and President of the Administrative Council at the AMAT Hospital in Cancún.

Dr. Jenny Loría Muñoz M.D., Director of Aesthetic Services
Dr. Loría graduated as a medical surgeon from the University del Mayab, Mérida. After completing her internship at the Ignacio Garcia Tellez IMSS Hospital in Mérida and her Social Service requirement in Playa del Carmen, Dr. Loría worked as a Medical Director in a Spa and a Laser Clinic and has taken advanced courses in Thalassotherapy, Medical Aesthetic and Cosmetic Laser therapies and Anti-aging medicine. She also has diplomas in Anti-Aging Medicine  and Aesthetic medicine from SCMME (Sociedad Científica Mexicana de Medicina Estética/Mexican Society of Aesthetic Medicine, endorsed by the National Autonomous University of Mexico and UIME) and Spa Administration from La Salle University. Dr. Loría specializes in minimally invasive aesthetic and cosmetic procedures with expertise in Thermage, Botox Cosmetic, IPL Photo Rejuvenation, Laser Collagen Enhancement and Acne Treatment, Microdermabrasion, Laser Vein Removal, Mesotherapy and SmartLipo is US-certified for all FDA-approved treatments. She speaks fluent English, Spanish.

Dr. Claudia Saavedra Nateras M.D.
Dr. Saavedra earned her medical degree from the National Autonomous University of Mexico in Ixtacala. After completing an internship in the HGZ No. 1 IMSS Hospital in San Luis Potosí, she did her Social Service practice in Kopoma, Yucatan, Dr. Saavedra has attended advanced training courses in aesthetic medicine at the International College of Aesthetic Medicine in Paris, UNAM and the Mexican Society of Aesthetic Medicine and has a diploma in Anti-Aging Medicine from SCMME (Sociedad Científica Mexicana de Medicina Estética/Mexican Society of Aesthetic Medicine, endorsed by the Autonomous University of Mexico and UIME). Dr. Alicia Adela Benavides Moron M.D.
Dr. Benavides has a medical degree from the Faculty of Medicine at the National University of La Plata, Argentina. She did her internship at the Sister María Ludovica Interzonal Hospital of Critical Care, where she specialized in Pediatrics and later in Plastic Burns Surgery. Dr. Benavides moved to Mexico in 1985 and joined the staff of the Dr. Manuel Gea González General Hospital in Mexico City as Assistant Doctor in the Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery department. After extensive experience in the field, she was awarded a Diploma in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery by the Mexican Council of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery in 1989. Dr. Benavides was a Specialist in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Adolfo López Mateos ISSTE Hospital in Mexico City from 1990 to 1994 and has been in private practice ever since.

Alejandro U. Solis Gonzalez M.D.
Dr. Solis graduated as a Medical Surgeon from the National Autonomous University of Mexico and completed his internship at Dr. Manuel Gea Gonzalez General Hospital in Mexico City. He then specialized in General Surgery at La Raza Hospital and in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the Magdalena de Las Salinas Trauma and Orthopedic Hospital. During his time in Mexico City, he also taught Anatomy to first year medical students at the National Autonomous University of Mexico. A career move took him to the Santa Lucia Hospital in Acapulco, Guerrero where he was given a fellowship with Dr. Miguel Escudero Torres. For the past three years, Dr. Gonzalez has worked at the Social Security Hospital in Cancun. He has taken advanced courses in osteoporosis, sclerotherapy, clinical pharmacology and therapy.
Dr. Gonzalez speaks fluent English.

Claudine Riemer, Mesos Office Manager
Originally from Canada, Mesos Office Manager Claudine Riemer has ample experience in the field of Spa Management, Marketing and the latest Spa treatments. She studied Massage, Hydrotherapy and Natural Healing at the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy in Toronto and the College of Natural Healing in Ottawa, respectively and worked as a Sports Therapist and Rehabilitation Therapist in Toronto before moving to Mexico. Ms. Riemer is also a US-licensed Massage Therapist and speaks English, French and Spanish.

Florence Gegg, Paramedical Specialist
Born and raised in Belize, Florence Gegg attended St. Francis Xavier College where she trained as a teacher. In 1976, she moved to the rapidly growing resort of Cancun to teach English. She ran an import company for many years before joining Royal Resorts in 2000 as the Life Extension Foundation Customer Services Representative. Ms. Gegg has studied massage therapy and bio-energetic analysis. She speaks English and fluent Spanish.
