There is minimal downtime associated with Mesotherapy. Depending on the type of treatment you have (body sculpting or skin tightening) you may be asked not to use any lotions or wear make-up for at least 6 hours after a treatment, not to take hot showers for 6 to 8 hours following a treatment and avoid hot baths and exercise for 48 hours following the treatment. Other than these restrictions you can continue with your daily activities.
Mesotherapy provides lasting results. Combining Mesotherapy with a proper diet and exercise program will help prolong the results. Depending on the treatment you have, you may need additional treatments every 6 to 8 months to maintain the desired result.
Depending on the area you are targeting and the results you are trying to achieve more than one session may be required. Most people see significant improvement after two or three treatments. We like to evaluate the progress after each treatment to determine if more treatments are needed.

Potential side effects usually involve the injection site and can include a mild burning sensation that may last 15-20 minutes, mild bruising, minor swelling that may last one to five days, minimally soreness, minor skin discoloration and a slight risk of infection (which may occur whenever an injection is administered).
